001 – How do I access UTT Moodle?

UTT currently uses two Moodle environments: Academic Moodle and Professional Development Moodle (ProDev). The environment you should access depends on the type of course or training activity you are completing.

1. Academic Moodle #

The Academic Moodle environment is used for the delivery of UTT’s undergraduate and postgraduate academic courses.

To access Academic Moodle:

  1. Visit the UTT MyCampus page:
    https://id.quicklaunch.io/UTT
  2. Enter your UTT username and password.
  3. Select Log In.
  4. From the MyCampus dashboard, select the Moodle Academic icon.
  5. You will be automatically directed to the Academic Moodle environment.

Your available courses should appear on your Moodle dashboard.

Unable to access Academic Moodle? #

If you recently registered for a course or your MyPortal access was recently restored, allow some time for your enrolment information to be updated in Moodle.

When requesting assistance, provide your:

  • Full name
  • UTT student or staff ID
  • Course code and course name
  • Screenshot of any error message received
2. Professional Development Moodle (ProDev) #

The ProDev Moodle environment is used for professional development, staff training and other non-academic courses. This includes the Faculty Transitioning to Moodle Workplace course.

To access ProDev Moodle:

  1. Check your UTT email account for an automated email from Moodle Workplace containing your login details.
  2. Select the Moodle Workplace link provided in the email.
  3. Log in using the username and temporary password provided.
  4. On your first login, you may be required to create a new password.
  5. After logging in, select the required course from your Moodle Workplace dashboard.
Unable to locate your ProDev login email? #

Check your Junk, Spam and Clutter folders for an email from Moodle Workplace.

If you are still unable to locate the email or access your account, submit a request to Support TLIS. Include your full name, UTT email address and the name of the training course you are attempting to access.

Important #

Academic Moodle and ProDev Moodle are separate environments.

Being logged in to one environment does not automatically provide access to the other. Ensure that you are using the correct Moodle environment for your course or training activity.
