After logging in to Moodle, your available courses can be accessed from the Dashboard or the My Courses page.

From the Dashboard #

1. Log in to the correct Moodle environment.
2. Select Dashboard from the main navigation.
3. Locate the Course overview section.
4. Use the available filters to view:
   • Courses currently in progress
   • Future courses
   • Past courses
   • Starred courses
   • Courses removed from view
5. Select the course name or course image to open the course.

From My Courses #

1. Select My Courses from the main navigation.
2. Browse or search the list of courses assigned to your account.
3. Select the required course to open it.

Search for a course #

Where available, use the course search or filtering options to search by:

• Course code
• Course name
• Semester
• Academic year

Faculty members may see more than one version of a course, including:

• A current semester course shell
• A master course shell
• A sandbox or practice course
• A previous semester’s course

Check the course name, code and academic period before editing or adding content.

Check the correct Moodle environment #

UTT uses separate Moodle environments:

• Academic Moodle for undergraduate and postgraduate academic courses
• Professional Development Moodle (ProDev) for training, workshops and professional development activities

A course available in one environment will not appear in the other.
